The future of education could be an amalgamation of transformations driven by Education 4.0, NEP 2020, present pandemic, emerging student needs and new technologies. The current social environment, generational differences in society, new student profiles and monumental technological changes have led Indian higher education institutions to reinvent and redesign ecosystems to create a more accessible and inclusive environment.
The new paradigm of education is defined by features such as 5G spectrum, adoption of a mobile centric economy, increased use of social media platforms, etc. The need for facilitating personalized learning anytime, anywhere is changing the role of teachers to facilitators and mentors are some of the key characteristics in the new age of Education.
SEPC being a nodal organization for India’s services exports promotion, has been advocating reforms in higher education sector, carrying out research, surveys and studies. The education committee has been in discussion with Government’s growth agenda for the sector.
