New Delhi : The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released an official notification inviting all the interested, eligible candidates for 4 positions of Deputy Secretary And 2 positions for Education Officer vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online through the the prescribed format till April 5 on the website.
Educational qualification required
Education Officer: All the candidates interested in applying need to possess a master’s degree with 55 per cent from a recognised university/institute.
Also, the applicant should have five years of teaching or research or educational administration experience.
Deputy Secretary: The applicant should have a master’s degree along with at least seven years of teaching or educational or administrative experience.

UGC Recruitment 2019: Age limit criteria
Deputy Secretary: The upper age limit for this post is 45 years as on April 12, 2019
Education Officer: The candidates should not exceed the maximum age limit i.e. 40 years as on April 12, 2019
Meanwhile, candidates from the reserved category will get age relaxation as per the government norms.
Pay scale
Deputy Secretary: Pay Level-12 Rs.78, 800-2, 09,200
Education officer: Pay Level-11 Rs.67, 700-2, 08,700
