Delhi Government plans to organize special coaching classes to improve results

As per the CBSE compartmental date sheet 2019, the class 12 exams for all subjects will be conducted on a single day i.e., July 2, while the CBSE class 10 compartmental exams will be conducted from July 2 to 10. To help students in their exam preparation, Delhi government is planning to organize special coaching classes so that students can improve their CBSE class 10, 12 board results. In these coaching classes, teachers will clear all the doubts of students in those subjects in which the scores lowest marks. The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the result of Class 10 on May 6. As per the data shared by CBSE, 1,66,167 students of Delhi Government schools appeared in the Class 10 board exam. Out of which 2,715 students got compartment in one or two subjects. In CBSE Class 12 results, 8.23 per cent students across Delhi were placed in compartment. A total of 1,18,936 have successfully cleared the board exams 2019.

According to the Shailendra Sharma who is the Principal Advisor to Director Education, the schools have been already given the detailed instructions/guidelines for organizing the special coaching classes for the compartmental exams for class 10. The department of Delhi Directorate of Education has already started the process of putting students into two groups i.e., first group will have the name of students who failed in one subject, while the second group will contains the name of students who failed in two subjects. A similar process will be carried out for the Class 12 students. Class 12 students will be also provided with the coaching classes to improve their board result.

The Delhi Directorate of Education is also finding the strategies to improve the overall results for board exams 2020. The department is also planning to develop strategies for the next to help students with subjects that have seen the most compartments in board exams 2019. According to the department, mostly students get compartment in Mathematics subjects.
