Prime Minister’s Research Fellow Scheme has been designed for improving the quality of research in various higher educational institutions in the country. With attractive fellowships, the scheme seeks to attract the best talent into research thereby realizing the vision of development through innovation.
Pursuant to many suggestions received in the Ministry and with a view to making the scheme more inclusive, the guidelines for the implementation of the scheme have been revised with the approval of the competent authority. A copy of revised guidelines has been issued. The guidelines shall come into effect from the next round of selection in May 2019.
