The Jharkhand government has announced a cash award of Rs 3 lakh each for the state toppers of Jharkhand in the JAC board exam, the CBSE board exam, and the ICSE/ISC board exam.
The announcement to felicitate and award the board exam toppers were made by Jagannath Mahto. He said that the decision has the cabinet’s approval.
The first topper from each board will get an award of Rs 3 lakh, the second topper will receive Rs 2 lakh, and the third topper will receive Rs 1 lakh. Each topper will receive the prize money along with a laptop and a smartphone. The award and felicitation ceremony was also held in 2020 but the prize money has been increased this time.
The JAC Class 10 or the matric board exam will be held from March 14 to April 3, 2023. and the JAC Class 12 or the intermediate board exam 2023 will be held from March 14 to April 5, 2023.
