Foundation laid for KV permanent campus in Odisha

Deogarh: Union Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday laid the foundation stone of the permanent campus of Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Deogarh.

While gracing the occasion, the Education Minister said “the KV Deogarh will be a milestone in imparting qualitative education to the local pupils. The full-fledged institution will be a laboratory to experiment with the newly implemented National Education Policy inculcating Odia Language, value-based education, and research with functional and social approaches.”

Students need to be up-skilled with the new scientific development as India is heading to become the number-one economy in the world in the coming days. Now it has emerged as the world’s fifth-largest economy, he added.

Worth mentioning the MoE has sanctioned Rs 32 crore for the construction of the Deogarh KVS campus which is likely to be functional soon.

Later in the afternoon, Education Minister Pradhan laid the foundation stone of a multipurpose hall in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Deogarh and launched ‘Football for School’ for the district.
